Today (20th May 2020), recently Twitter tweeted of from official twitter account acknowledging the fact that they are working on a new feature that allows you to limit the number of people who can comment/reply on your tweet. It only allows the people you have mentioned in the tweet to reply/comment on that particular tweet of yours. Everyone would be able to view your conversation but only the people you have allowed to comment, or in simple language you have mentioned in that tweet would be the only ones who could reply/comment or be a part of that conversation. Twitter is going to give you 3 options to choose from, which are as follows:-
- People you follow
- Only people you mentioned
These options would be available in the permission settings of the tweet. As far as the video in the official tweet by twitter shows you can limit the number of people who can comment while you are composing the tweet.
