One UI 8.5 Beta Launch and Availability

Samsung has officially launched the One UI 8.5 beta program, initially available in the US, South Korea, the UK, Germany, India, and Poland. The beta is currently exclusive to Galaxy S25 series owners, with plans to expand to more regions and devices in the future.

Upgraded Samsung Health Weekly Reports

The update introduces significant improvements to the Samsung Health app. Weekly activity summaries now include additional data points such as medication tracking and mindfulness sessions, expanding beyond the existing metrics for activity, sleep, and workouts.

New Sharing Options for Workouts

Samsung has enhanced the sharing experience within the Health app. Users can now customize workout data sharing by combining various statistics with photos taken during workouts, offering a more personalized way to share fitness achievements with friends.

Smartwatch Enhancements: Medication and Antioxidant Tracking

One UI 8.5 also adds two notable features for Galaxy smartwatches. Users can start medications directly from their wrist without needing to use their phone, streamlining medication management. Additionally, antioxidant level measurements are now possible on the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, providing more in-depth health insights.
