Realme P4 Lite 4G Set for Launch in India

Realme is preparing to introduce the Realme P4 Lite 4G to the Indian market this week, marking the next step in its P4 series. Scheduled to launch on 20 February, this new model succeeds the P3 Lite 4G that debuted in September last year. The P4 Lite 4G promises a refreshed design and several notable upgrades that aim to enhance user experience.

Key Specifications and Features

The Realme P4 Lite 4G boasts a large 6,300mAh battery, which supports 15W wired charging and 6W reverse wired charging, allowing it to act as a power source for other devices. It sports a sizeable 6.74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch, delivering up to 563 nits of peak brightness for clear visibility even in bright conditions.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core chipset, although the exact processor model has not been disclosed. Photography capabilities include a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 13MP primary sensor accompanied by a pulse ring-light LED strip, enhancing low-light photography and adding a distinctive aesthetic element.

In terms of build, the device measures 7.94mm in thickness and weighs 201 grams. It carries an IP54 rating, providing resistance against dust and water splashes, alongside military-grade drop certification, which suggests improved durability. Buyers will have the option to choose from three different colour variants.

Software and Additional Features

The P4 Lite 4G runs on Realme UI based on Android 15, bringing a suite of AI-driven features such as AI Boost for performance enhancement, AI Eraser for photo editing, and Circle to Search, among others. These additions aim to offer a smarter and more intuitive user experience.

Looking Ahead

As Realme expands its P4 series, the P4 Lite 4G appears to be a compelling choice for users seeking a large battery and a smooth display experience at an affordable price point. The official launch on 20 February will reveal more details, including pricing and availability. It will be interesting to see how this model compares to its predecessor and other competitors in the segment.
