The Apple iPhone 14 is the upcoming flagship series from Apple that not only comes with some big hardware improvements, but it’s also the biggest design change we’ve seen.
iPhone 14 Models
Apple generally provide consumers with various models of the iPhone to suit different budgets and preferences. With the iPhone 14 they will again be Delivering 4 models but with a slight variation to its predecessor. In the iPhone 14 series apple have removed the mini, and replaced it with the iPhone 14 Max which will be similar specs to the iPhone 14 but with a larger display.
iPhone 14 Display’s
We have a big change when it comes to displays and according to reports apple are finally set to ditch the notch in favor of an in display face-id sensor. The Camera will be in the form of a punch hole camera and Touch-ID is reportedly making its return in the form of an in display fingerprint sensor.

iPhone 14 Cameras
When it comes to cameras we’re getting upgrades across the board and more camera’s for the entry level models. Every iPhone 14 is reported to have a 12MP selfie camera with face ID embedded under the display, but the rear camera configurations are different.
iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 Max
Both these models are reportedly coming with a dual camera setup consisting of a 12MP wide angle & a 12MP Ultrawide camera. This will however be the first time we see these accompanied by a LiDar scanner on the budget models to help push AR even further.
iPhone 14 Pro & iPhone 14 Pro Max
The Pro models will be similar to their predecessors sporting a triple camera setup along with an additional LiDar scanner. Its thought that they’ll be sticking with a 12MP wide angle, a 12MP ultrawide & a 12MP telephoto. They’ll likely be improved sensors to the predecessor offering better photography & video results, better stabilization and we expect and improvement in optical zoom to 5x.
iPhone 14 Hardware
The iPhone 14 series will be powered by the A16 Bionic and while this was expected to be a 3nm chipset, due to ongoing problems it will most likely be 4nm. It will however be a huge improvement over the previous A15 however and deliver 11% performance increase and 22% improvement in power efficiency.
We are also expecting an upgrade to 8GB ram and a choice of 128GB ,256GB and 512GB Storage across all models, with the Pro models having the option for 1TB.
All phones are expected to support 5G, Wifi-6e, Bluetooth 5.2 and have Ultra Wide-band chips.
iPhone 14 Battery
The battery capacities are expected to remain the same as the predecessors given that there is no increase in overall size but we do have rumours of 30Watt fast charging, Wireless charging & reverse wireless charging.

iPhone 14 Software
With a new iPhone comes new software and of course it will be iOS 16 making its debut with the iPhone 14. At this early stage its too early for leaked info on any changes and feature updates to iOS but we’ll update this section as the news comes in.
iPhone 14 Prices
The iPhone 14 series is expected to remain at a similar price point to the previous iPhones and the only difference really being the iPhone 14 Max which will be more expensive than the iPhone 14. Below are the current estimated prices for each model in the range.

iPhone 14 Release Date
The iPhone 14 is going to be an exciting release from Apple and after years of the notch design on the front it will be refreshing to see something new. At this early stage leaks can come in and then information change as different prototypes are created so do not take this as confirmation, but the series will officially launch in september 2022 and release shortly afterwards.
