Exynos S21 Ultra is Better than the Snapdragon

This year has done it differently for Samsung’s Exynos Markets. Where they sell their flagship S series with their own in-house Exynos chipsets rather than the Snapdragon ones. Every year Samsung disappoints their Fans in those markets with the performance of their Exynos Processor. But not this year. I am not even kidding the performance improvement the new Exynos 2100 brings is mind-blowing it blows all the past Exynos Processors in shame.

There are many Youtubers who have done the comparison of both the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but out of those, there is only a few we can trust. So today we are going to consider the comparisons from Arun from Mrwhosetheboss and Tom from The Tech Chap.

The results of both the Youtubers are contradicting but is anyways fun to see.

Let me give you an overview of their videos first.
In Arun’s comparison, the Snapdragon performed better than the Exynos, while it is the complete opposite in Tom’s scenario. In Arun’s comparison, Exynos went way hotter than the Snapdragon and was not at all good at handling sustained performance load, while when tom did the same the Exynos one didn’t only run cooler than the Snapdragon but also scored better in the benchmark where he ran back-to-back tests, to see how is its performance under sustained loads.

Arun from Mrwhosetheboss says “One interesting thing is that across every reviewer’s testing I’ve seen, the Snapdragon seems to be performing similarly, but the Exynos models seem to have more variance between them.”

But the complete opposite happened with Tom. When he started the testing, he thought his Snapdragon S21 Ultra was lacking in performance (the unit was provided by Snapdragon), so he went out and purchased a new Snapdragon version of the S21 Ultra to make the comparison as fair as possible. And surprisingly the performance disparity between the 2 Snapdragon Models of the phone was huge. It was like one was Exynos and the other was the Snapdragon one.

I cannot appreciate more, about how much Samsung improved their Exynos processor. It is just drastically improved over the Exynos 990. There was a time when the difference in the performance of the phones was so much that it felt like they were 2 different phones. Now let me tell you this is just the beginning. In 2022 Exynos processors are going to start including mobile GPUs made by AMD. So next year the performance disparity between the Snapdragon S22 Ultra and Exynos S22 Ultra is going to be huge. I am really excited about it.

I would really recommend you to watch both the videos, they are linked below.
