The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is coming very soon and thanks to a leaked back plate we now know what this models fan edition is going to look like along with key specs. The Galaxy S21 Fan edition aims to deliver the some popular phone and offer the features that Samsung consider to be the most important for Galaxy S Fans
Backplate Leak
Roland Quandt tweeted earlier this week to uncover the backplate of the Galaxy S21 FE and the first thing you’ll notice is that unsurprisingly its looking similar to the S21, and the S21+. We can see by the backplate that they’ll be keeping the triple camera setup we saw in the flagship model and of course the tiny cutout to the right is for the LED flash. It gives an indication as to what colour backplates we can expect, and we believe they will be named Gray, Olive Green, Purple & white. Because of the lack of metallic finishes we can be pretty sure that again the fan edition will be a plastic back.

If that wasn’t enough Jermain Smit also known as Concept Creator has obtained a mock up sample of the Galaxy S21 FE and attached it to the galaxy s10 frame to give us a hands on video of what we can expect from the S21 Fan Edition.
He has created a full youtube video with a variety of pan shots so that we can see the device in all its beauty and this can be seen at the bottom of the post.
Galaxy S21 FE Specs
While no camera parts were available when recording his first video he explains that he will be getting his hands on them and creating another video for thos.
The Galaxy S21 FE will be sporting a triple camera setup which is expected to be a 32MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto.
The display is rumoured to be a 6.4″ AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, This means its a little bit bigger than the standard S21, but smaller than the S21+
It will be using the same chipset as the S21 which means depending on region its either the Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm or the Exynos 2100 from samsung.
Its coming in two variants which will be 6GB Ram / 12GB Storage, or 8GB Ram / 256GB Storage but there will unfortunately be no micro SD slot.
The Galaxy S21 FE is coming with a 4,370 mAh battery and it will support 25W fast charge, as with all phones these days there will be no charger in the packaging.
Its shipping with One UI 3 based on android 11 and according to John Prosser although the launch was delayed, we can expect the Galaxy S21 FE on the 11th January
