The Samsung Galaxy S22 Launch is approaching and its going to be more powerful than ever for all regions!
Exynos 2200
The Galaxy S range are always powered by either the Snapdragon chip or the Exynos. Usually the Snapdragon outperforms the Exynos but thanks to a partnership between Samsung & AMD things are finally changing.
Leaker front tron as given us the results of an official benchmark for the Exynos 2200 where he advises the gpu is showing 31%-34% improvement for peak power, and still sustained 16%-20% overall.

Compared to E2100, E2200 GPU is…
Sustained +17~20%
Peak +31~34%
Compared to SD888, E2200 GPU has…
Big difference in 3DMark performance (Wild Life)
ARMv9

* Subject to change pic.twitter.com/m6BKqWcgKj
The lower overall % is no doubt due to throttling from the chip set as it gets hotter, but as advised by Tron these benchmarks have been carried out on pre-release hardware meaning they will no doubt improve with further optimisations.
He also goes on to avdise that the Exynos 2200 GPU has a big difference in 3DMark bench mark (wild Life Test) and it is way ahead of the snapdragon 888. The snapdragon 888 is however a previous generation chipset so its not great for comparison.

The tweet confirms that the Exynos 2200 will be using Arms new v9 architecture and thats hardly surprising & the snapdragon 898 will also be using it.
Overall though its great news that the Exynos is finally catching up and showing some big improvements compared to last year, with many often disappointed about receiving the Exynos chipset in their region, this could change things with the Galaxy S22.
