The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the latest flagship phone from Samsung and is without a doubt their best yet. With the end of the note line, The S22 Ultra has taken a new Note like form as well as adopting its best features.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Display
The S22 Ultra is coming with a 6.8″ dynamic AMOLED display. Its a 120hz LTPO display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 and Ice universe has advised that it will also be the brightest display breaking samsungs previous record for peak brightness. Its also the only smartphone in the S range to feature a curved display and its looking very similar to the Note 20 Ultra.
The peak brightness of S22 Ultra broke through the highest record of Samsung’s OLED screen. Obviously, Samsung still keeps the best screen for itself.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Hardware
When it comes to hardware we pretty much get the best available for the S22 Ultra. The smartphone will be powered by either the Exynos 2200 or the snapdragon 898 depending on region, both of which are powerful next gen chipsets.
It will be coming with a choice of 12GB or 16GB of RAM coupled with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or even 1TB of storage.
Its all powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with an impressive 45Watt fast charge, and we also get wireless & reverse wireless charging.
It comes with 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6e, Ultrwawide band support and an in display fingerprint scanner.
The phone will be shipping with One UI 4.0 based on android 12
The S22 Ultra will also be the first S phone from samsung to house the S-Pen inside the frame, while its predecessor supported S-Pen use there was no where to place it. With the S22 Ultra we have a slot in the bottom of the phone next to the speaker grill.
Galaxy S22 Cameras
With the S22 Ultra we get a powerful Quad camera setup along with an additional sensor.
We get a 108MP wide angle camera as the primary, and this is an improved version of the Isocell HM3.
We get a 12MP ultrawide, A 10MP telephoto with 10x Optical Zoom & another 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom providing plenty of photography choices.
Along with the cameras we get the LED Flash and the Laser Auto Focus Sensor.
They have also ditched the bold camera module found in the predecessor in favor of much more subtle water drop style lenses.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Launch Date
Jon Prosser has advised that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be launching at Samsungs unpacked event on the 8th February at 10:00am ET. It will be available for pre-order as soon as the launch event finishes & you’ll also be able to purchase in stores from this date. Jon Prosser has been incredibly reliable with launch date information so take this as a credible date.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Price
We have no leaks or information on pricing just yet but given the hardware inside the phone and going by previous releases we can make a pretty good estimate. There will of course be multiple configurations available but we believe the Galaxy S22 Ultra should be starting from $1,300
