Google is expected to launch the Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro this October, and today we have the first reveal of Google’s flagship!
TechGoing has published these images of the Pixel 7 Pro that have presumably come from a case manufacturer, and showcase the device from multiple different angles.
One of the most interesting things about the 1st image is the lack of a punch hole selfie camera on the front. This will no doubt fuel many rumors about an in display selfie camera but its simply just an illustration, the CAD files show a punch hole camera.
The case illustrations fall in line with the CAD data and they show us a new pixel, that looks incredibly similar to is predecessor, The Pixel 6 Pro.
While there will be hardware & software upgrades, when it comes to design the only real change is in the camera’s and the module housing them. The module is slightly different in appearance, and the primary & ultrawide camera have been essentially joined together in an oval.
After the success of the Pixel 6 series it was unlikely that too much would change, and focus from google seems to be on refining an already incredible device. It will come with camera improvements (although this may actually be software only) as well as plenty of hardware improvements.
It will be coming with the next generation Tensor chipset, an improved display and of course Android 13.
While the current Pixel has been problematic for many with its in display fingerprint scanner, the feature will also be retained in the Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro although the issues have reportedly been resolved.
