New Details Emerge on Huawei Pura 90 Ultra Camera Setup
Huawei’s upcoming Pura 90 Ultra is generating interest as a successor to the Pura 80 Ultra, with fresh leaks shedding light on its camera design and specifications. Although Huawei has yet to officially confirm details about the Pura 90 series, a recent tip on Weibo has provided intriguing insights into the Ultra model’s rear camera module and imaging capabilities.
Redesigned Camera Module and Impressive Specs
The leak on weibo suggests that the Pura 90 Ultra will sport a redesigned rear camera arrangement. While the distinctive triangular decorative element from its predecessor is expected to remain, it will be integrated within a horizontal camera bar, as depicted in a leaked sketch shared by the tipster. This design evolution could mark a notable shift in the phone’s aesthetic.
In terms of hardware, the Pura 90 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 50MP primary sensor with a 1-inch size and a variable aperture, promising enhanced light capture and versatility. Complementing this will be a 200MP SCC80XS SmartSens periscope telephoto camera, which aims to deliver impressive zoom capabilities and detailed telephoto shots.
Context and Comparison with the Pura 80 Ultra
For context, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra was notable for its innovative camera system, including a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with a unique dual-lens setup that allowed users to switch between 3.7x and 9.4x optical zoom. It also featured a 1-inch 50MP main sensor, setting a high bar for image quality. The Pura 90 Ultra’s reported upgrades, particularly the jump to a 200MP telephoto sensor, indicate Huawei’s continued focus on pushing mobile photography boundaries.
What to Expect Next
As Huawei prepares to launch the Pura 90 Ultra in the coming months, enthusiasts will be keen to see how these leaked specifications translate into real-world performance. The combination of a large primary sensor with variable aperture and a high-resolution periscope telephoto camera suggests a strong emphasis on photography enhancements. Official announcements should clarify further details and confirm the design changes hinted at by these leaks.
Overall, the Huawei Pura 90 Ultra looks set to continue the brand’s tradition of innovative camera technology, making it a device to watch in the high-end smartphone market.
