The oneplus 10 has been revealed by Oneplus CEO Pete Lau and its everything we’d hoped for!
With Launch set for the 11th January in China Pete Lau has revealed the specs, the design and the teaser video for the Oneplus 10 Pro
Oneplus 10 Launch
We have confirmation that the Oneplus 10 series will be launched on 11th January in china thanks to the latest information from CEO Pete Lau.
It will be a China exclusive after launch followed by a global launch later on. While no date has been given just yet, Thanks to leaker Max Jambor we know it will be late March or early Aprril.
Oneplus 10 Design
It has to be said that on the front side of the phone it looks almost identical to its predecessor and even has the selfie camera placement the same. While it looks identical it will however be a new 6.7″ display, the same size, resolution and refresh rate as before but with improvements such as brightness.
There was no T variant release from Oneplus this year and it looks as if the Oneplus 10 is more of a refined version of its predecessor, and more like what we would have expected this year.
The Oneplus 10 Pro will be available in Volcanic Black or Emerald Forest color variants.
Oneplus 10 Cameras
The main change is of course the camera module with a much more bold camera module before. They are still teaming up with hassleblad for their camera system and delivering a triple camera setup along with the LED Flash.
The Oneplus 10 Pro is coming with a 48MP Primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide & an 8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom.
The selfie camera is a 32MP punch hole camera in the top center of the display.
The camera configuration for the standard oneplus 10 is still unknown.
Oneplus 10 Hardware
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Its coming with 8GB or 12GB of Ram and a choice of 128GB or 256GB storage.
Pete Lau has confirmed it will be a 5,000 mAh battery with 80 Watt SuperVOOC charging & 50Watt airVOOC, we also get support for reverse wireless charging.
It will be shipping with Oxygen OS 12.0 based on android 12 globally and in china it will be released with ColorOS
Oneplus 10 Price
While no pricing information is available yet its also likely that the Oneplus 10 will start from $730 and the Oneplus 10 Pro will start from $1,050
Oneplus 10 Conclusion
So great news for oneplus fans that we’ll be seeing the oneplus 10 earlier than usual, and this will also help oneplus compete in the market as they are releasing a flagship phone around a similar time to compeitors.
Thanks to Pete Lau we already have most of the specifications confirmed but we’re still excited to see how this phone performs.
The final product is also looks exactly like the renders Onleaks provided us way back in November, So Kudos to him for another accurate & early leak!
