OnePlus 15T Camera and Display Details Surface
New leaks have unveiled significant details about the upcoming OnePlus 15T, shedding light on its camera capabilities and display features. According to well-known Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15T will sport a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP main sensor paired with a 50MP telephoto lens. For selfies, the device is expected to include a 16MP front-facing camera, promising solid photographic performance on both ends.
Display and Performance Specs
Beyond the cameras, the OnePlus 15T is rumoured to come with a 6.32-inch flat display boasting a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 165Hz refresh rate. This screen size aligns closely with that of the OnePlus 13T (known as the 13S in India), though the increased refresh rate suggests a more fluid visual experience. Powering the device is said to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite chip, Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, ensuring top-tier performance. Additionally, the phone is expected to house a substantial battery capacity in the range of 7,000 to 7,500mAh, comparable to the OnePlus 15’s 7,300mAh cell, which should provide ample endurance.
Context and Market Availability
These revelations build upon earlier leaks that hinted at the OnePlus 15T’s specifications, confirming the company’s continued efforts to refine its flagship line. However, it’s worth noting that the OnePlus 13T and 13S were primarily released in China and India, which tempers expectations for a broad global launch of the 15T. Still, OnePlus could opt to surprise the market with wider availability this time around.
What to Expect Next
As the OnePlus 15T edges closer to its official unveiling, enthusiasts and potential buyers should keep an eye out for further confirmations regarding its release date and pricing. The combination of a high-refresh-rate display, powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite chipset, and a versatile camera setup positions the 15T as a compelling contender in the premium smartphone segment.
