While we’ve had plenty of leaks on the design and specs of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE we have been unsure about the release date. Many assumed it would be launching at CES 2022 but it turns out that information was wrong!

Galaxy S21 FE Launch
Most sources have been advising of a subtle launch for the Galaxy S21 FE that would likely be at the upcoming CES show but thanks to leakier Jon Prosser we now know its coming sooner. Jon Prosser has been incredibly reliable when it comes to Launch date leaks and even recently leaked the Galaxy S22 Ultra with photos way ahead of launch.
In his latest tweet he advises that there will be a dedicated samsung unpacked event for the Galaxy S21 FE and that this will be held on the 4th January 2022. He advises that there will be no pre order period but the S21 FE will be available for purchase on 11th January 2022, and this is in line with what other leakers have advised.

Galaxy S21 FE Design
Thanks to a recent backplate leak for the Galaxy S21 FE we know that it will pretty much look identical to its predecessor which was always to be expected as it is the fan edition. Its purpose is to release a phone with all the features that are important for Galaxy S Fans.
The full specs and design can be found in our article about the S21 FE here but its great that we now also know when its coming. His tweet also mentions the S22 Ultra which according to Prosser is coming on the 8th February which is far enough away not to cause problems with the S21 FE launch.
