The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is the latest flagship phone coming from samsung with come great all round improvements to make it one of their best phones yet.

Galaxy S22 Plus Display
The S22 Plus is coming with a 6.7″ dynamic AMOLED display. Its a 120hz display with a resolution of 1080×2400 and its reportedly going to be the brightest display we’ve seen in a smartphone. It will be a flat display but recent leaks advise that the bezels will actually be thinner than that found on the Ultra Verison. The S22 Plus will also have have a punch hole selfie camera on the front, there will not be an in-display selfie camera.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Hardware
When it comes to hardware we pretty much get some great specs in the S22 Plus. The smartphone will be powered by either the Exynos 2200 or the snapdragon 898 depending on region, both of which are powerful next gen chipsets.
It will be coming with 12GB of RAM coupled with 128GB or 256GB storage.
Its going to be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with 25Watt fast charging and we also get wireless & reverse wireless charging. This has been confirmed in the FCC Filing.
It comes with 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6e, Ultrwawide band support and an in display fingerprint scanner.
The phone will be shipping with One UI 4.0 based on android 12
The Galaxy S22 Plus will not house the s-pen like the ultra variant, and its unlikely to support it either.
Galaxy S22 Cameras
With the S22 Plus we get a punch hole selfie camera on the front and a triple camera system on the rear.
We get a 10MP selfie camera in the form of a punch hole on the front display.
We get a 50MP Wide angle as the primary camera
We get a 12MP ultrawide camera
And finally we get a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
While the megapixel counts are actually lower than the predessesors, its been reported that larger sensors will be used which should result in better photography & video.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Launch Date
According to Jon Prosser the Galaxy S22 Plus will be launching at samsungs Unpacked event held on the 8th February at 10:00am ET. Pre-Orders will be available right after launch and the phone will deliver, as well as be available in stores on 18th February.
Galaxy S22 Plus Price
We have no leaks or information on pricing just yet but given the hardware inside the phone and going by previous releases we can make a pretty good estimate. There will of course be multiple configurations available but we believe the Galaxy S22 Plus should be starting from $1,100
