At the front, a centrally placed punch-hole houses a 50MP selfie camera co-developed with ZEISS, promising high-quality self-portraits.
The rear camera array is equally compelling, featuring a triple camera setup also co-developed with ZEISS. This includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP night telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The V70 series supports 4K video recording at 60fps with HDR, complemented by AI-powered photography features such as AI Petal Shower Portrait, AI Magic Weather, and an exclusive India-only AI Holi Portrait available from 19 February to 15 March 2026. Additionally, AI Audio Noise Eraser technology is included to enhance audio clarity during recordings.
Robust Performance and Software Support
Under the hood, the V70 series will come equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with the V70 Elite offering an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Both devices will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box, and vivo promises four major OS upgrades alongside six years of security updates, ensuring longevity and up-to-date software support.

Battery, Build, and Additional Features
Powering these smartphones is a sizeable 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging and multi-scenario bypass charging, allowing users to charge their devices efficiently without interrupting usage. The build quality includes a metal frame, with the V70 Elite featuring an X-Axis Linear Motor for enhanced haptic feedback. Both models are rated IP68 and IP69, offering robust protection against dust and water ingress.

vivo’s V Series has been steadily gaining traction by offering competitive specifications and innovative features at accessible price points. The inclusion of high-end chipsets like the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the V70 Elite indicates vivo’s commitment to delivering flagship-level performance in this lineup. Given the promotional timing of the AI Holi Portrait feature, it is anticipated that the V70 and V70 Elite will be officially unveiled between 16 and 19 February 2026.
