Introducing Samsung’s Magnet Wireless Charger

Samsung is gearing up to enhance wireless charging for its upcoming Galaxy S26 series with the introduction of a new Qi2-compatible accessory. Recently, official images of the company’s latest wireless charger, dubbed the “Magnet Wireless Charger,” have surfaced thanks to a leak shared by Roland Quandt on Bluesky. This new charger is designed to complement the Galaxy S26 lineup, which is expected to feature built-in magnets similar to those seen on Google’s Pixel 10 series.

Key Features and Design Details

The Magnet Wireless Charger supports up to 25W wireless charging, though earlier leaks indicate that this peak charging speed will be exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra model. The other variants in the series may be capped at 20W wireless charging. The charger itself sports a compact puck design, equipped with a braided cable that ends in a USB-C port. The braided cable is likely intended to improve durability and longevity. Samsung recommends pairing this charger with a 45W power adapter to maximise charging efficiency.

Interestingly, despite the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z Fold 7 lacking built-in magnets, this wireless charger will still be compatible with those devices, provided they are housed in Qi2-ready cases. This ensures a broader range of Samsung devices can benefit from the new charging technology.

Expanding the Qi2 Ecosystem

The Magnet Wireless Charger is just one piece of Samsung’s expanding Qi2 accessory lineup. Alongside it, the company is reportedly developing a Qi2 power bank capable of wirelessly charging the Galaxy S26 at 15W, or delivering 20W charging via a wired connection. This move signals Samsung’s commitment to building a cohesive ecosystem of wireless charging products that leverage the new Qi2 standard and magnetic alignment.

Looking Ahead

As Samsung prepares to launch the Galaxy S26 series, the introduction of Qi2 accessories like the Magnet Wireless Charger will likely enhance the user experience by offering faster and more convenient wireless charging options. Fans of the brand should keep an eye out for official announcements to learn more about pricing and availability. For now, these leaks provide a promising glimpse into Samsung’s wireless charging future.
